About Frankie:

Frankie was introduced to the stock market in the early 80’s by his father.

Too young to legally trade his father bought and sold the stocks for him. His father never passed judgement on Frankie’s stock purchases, rather his father allowed the young teen to learn for himself.

Frankie’s first two trades were $500 lots ‘invested’ in what can only be described has highly speculative stocks. His first trade was a loser but his second trade (a 5cent Australian Gold Explorer) made over $17,000 in less than twelve months.

Little did he know at the time, the stock market was in the early stages of a bull market that would last for close to six years. Virtual every trade Frankie took made money, very few failed. Each time he entered a trade his initial position increased in size.

From those first two $500 positions in the early 80’s, Frankie was soon trading $10,000 positions by the mid 1987. Small penny dreadfuls with no earnings and no assets except for a land tenet and a dream of mineral discover was Frankie’s preferred ‘investment’.

By early 1987, this young teenager had earned enough to buy his first car (which he did). Trading stocks appeared easy, but encouraged by his father, Frankie put some of his money into bank term deposits.

This was undoubtedly his ‘best’ investment in six years. It was late 1987 and then it happened ………. the crash of October 1987.

Overnight Frankie’s trading account had all but evaporated, tens of thousands of dollars in worthless companies. Many disappeared overnight, never to surface again.

Burnt by this experience, Frankie realised he had little knowledge about the stock market and no trading plan or strategy.

Shortly after this soul searching experience Frankie discovered technical analysis through a book by Edwards and Magee ‘Technical Analysis of Stock Trends’.

At the time, the book cost a fortune but this did not deter him. This was the time to regroup, take what money he had put away and begin to learn how to properly trade the market.

Armed with his Technical Analysis bible and some graph paper he started meticulously keeping hand drawn charts on the top 20 stocks.

Frankie’s trading reduced to a trickle, most of the time was spent studying the price charts, looking for patterns, studying how they formed and how they eventuated.

Any trades that Frankie undertook, he also made the time to record the details of the trade in his ‘little trading black book’. Over time he built up an ‘arsenal’ of trading knowledge.

By the mid 90s Frankie had dropped hand drawn charts for a personal computer and some charting software.

Still unhappy with his knowledge Frankie undertook studies in Applied Finance and Investment, achieving the highest grade nationally on three separate occasions.

Now over a quarter of a century on, Frankie has a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment, is accredited by the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) as a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe) and has successfully traded stocks, options, & other derivatives.

Outside his of family, he has a passion for two things: the stock market and helping other traders and investors to broaden their understanding of what Frankie believes is the real ’secret’ to long term financial success.

Virtually all of the lessons Frankie has learnt over the years have been included in the book – the “No Bullsh@#t guide to Achieving Profitability” which is available FREE to any reader.

The “No Bullsh@#t guide to Achieving Profitability” manual contains what Frankie truly believes is the ’secrets’ to long term trading prosperity.
