The story of Stock Market Prowess:

It frustrates me to see expensive courses offered which mislead people into believing making money in the stock market is easy. Buying and selling stocks is easy, actually making money over the long term is far from easy. It requires patience, hard work and a willingness to just keep on going, even during testing times . Nothing comes easy and wealth is right at the top of the list in this respect.

The aim of Stock Market Prowess is to give the stock market beginner and intermediate trader or investor, an insight into area’s of knowledge and skill that’s normally the domain of the financial market professional.  Stock Market Prowess aims to challenge the way most of us have been conditioned to approach trading and investing. By broadening  your skills and knowledge, you’ll become a much better investor or trader. The path to long term financial happiness is a path of constant learning. If you develop the essential skills first, profitability will follow.

My story:

I was introduced to the stock market by my father in the early 80’s. Over a quarter of a century on I have successfully traded stocks, options, & other derivatives. I have experienced the ups and downs of stock market investment. It is the lessons I have learnt which I wish to pass on to you in the hope that you may avoid some of the pitfalls I experienced.

I am both an investor in stocks and (part-time) trader of various derivative products. Why am I a part-time trader? Well, simply because I love my full-time job and I can’t stand being in front of the computer trading stocks all day, everyday. It’s just not me.

Since my early years I have continually expanded my knowledge base. I have a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment. I am also accredited by the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA) as a Certified Financial Technician (CFTe).

Outside of my wonderful family, I have a passion for two things: the stock market and passing on my knowledge to those looking to broaden their understanding of the marketplace.
